CAB:- Ask
your taxi driver to follow the Kennedy Cadde
(Street) ; also known as
the "Sahil Yolu" (coastal
road) along the sea shore and tell him to take you to
Sultanahmet.. Once you reach Sultanahmet, if your driver is
poor with his directions, look out the "Four
Seasons Hotel" which is a prominent landmark.. We are only a few steps away from
its main enterance. . Berk
is some 15 km. and roughly 20
minutes drive from the airport.. . Taxi cost amount can
be read on the meter.. 50%
surcharge
between 12:00 midnight and 06:00 am..
- By RAIL
SYSTEM (Metro+Tram):- Take
Metro (blue line) from the AIRPORT station ; change to tram,
(green line) at
ZEYTINBURNU station, where 2 lines meet at this station .. By
tram go to SULTANAHMET.. The trip takes some 50 minutes..
After you get off walk south, down the main road, "Divan
Yolu" until you reach HAGIA SOPHIA MUSEUM (once a
cathedral) on your
left.. Keep
walking in the same direction southwards and reach the
grandiose FOUR SEASONS HOTEL;
go pass its main gate a few
steps and turn left.. We are right there.(See map above)..
From the Tram stop to our place it is less than 5 minutes
easy and downhill walk; always to the south. This rail system is simple to use and also the most
economical.. You need to buy 2 tokens for each
person before you board at the airport station ..

BUS:- Regular
bus service runs all day between the airport and two main
centers of the city, namely AKSARAY and TAKSIM.. The name
of this bus service is "HAVAS"; it leaves right in front of the
international air terminal building.. Aksaray is the
nearest stop to our place.. Get off at Aksaray
and change to tram to reach SULTANAHMET (Bus and tram change stops are
some 200 meters apart and may be a bit confusing)... or
walk along the tram tracks to Sultanahnet, some 20 minutes walk southwards up and down
hill. Unless you have no other choice, we
dont recomend to use this service for coming to
Sultanahmet...
