To reach the Berk Guest-house from the "Ataturk International Air-Port"

  • By TAXI CAB:- Ask your taxi driver to follow the Kennedy Cadde (Street) ; also known as the  "Sahil Yolu" (coastal road) along  the sea shore  and tell him to take you to  Sultanahmet.. Once you reach Sultanahmet, if your driver is poor  with his directions, look out the "Four Seasons Hotel" which is a prominent landmark.. We are only a few steps away from its main enterance. . Berk is  some 15 km. and roughly  20 minutes drive from the airport.. . Taxi cost amount can be read on the meter.. 50% surcharge between 12:00 midnight and 06:00 am..
  • By RAIL SYSTEM (Metro+Tram):-  Take Metro (blue line) from the AIRPORT station ; change to tram, (green line) at  ZEYTINBURNU station, where 2 lines meet at this station .. By tram go to  SULTANAHMET..  The trip takes some 50 minutes.. After you get off  walk south, down the main road, "Divan Yolu" until you reach HAGIA SOPHIA MUSEUM (once a cathedral)  on your left.. Keep walking in the same direction southwards and reach  the grandiose  FOUR SEASONS HOTEL;  go pass its main gate a few steps and turn left.. We are right there.(See map above).. From the Tram stop to our place it is less than 5 minutes easy and downhill walk; always to the south. This rail system  is simple to use and also the most economical..  You need to buy 2 tokens for each person  before you board at the airport station ..
  • By BUS:- Regular bus service runs all day between the airport and two main centers of the city, namely AKSARAY and TAKSIM.. Get off at Aksaray and change to tram to reach SULTANAHMET (Bus and tram change stops are some 200 meters apart and may be a bit confusing)... or walk along the tram tracks to Sultanahnet, some 20 minutes walk southwards up and down hill.  Unless you have no  other choice, we dont recomend to use this service for coming to Sultanahmet...
